FORT WORTH, Texas (Nov. 21, 2012)
The Speech and Debate Team from Tarrant County College Northeast Campus earned top honors at the recent Texas Intercollegiate Forensics Association State Tournament hosted by Howard Payne University.
Jameson Johnson took first place in Novice Prose Interpretation and Autumn Sprabary won third place in Communication Analysis. They competed against teams from major universities including The University of Texas at Austin, Texas A&M University and Texas State University.
Coaches were Lisa Benedetti, Justin Blacklock and Stephen Thomas.
