Although graduation may seem months away, the time to start planning your transfer is now! Participate in Trinity River Campus’s Transfer Connections Week, Oct. 22-Oct.26!
Hosted by the Trinity River Transfer Center, this is a fun-filled week that provides you with the opportunity to discuss admissions, scholarships, and transfer requirements with representatives from a variety of universities.
This year’s theme is speed recruiting, an idea similar to speed dating and speed networking. Speed recruiting gives you five minutes to interview each participating university for the day, providing you the chance to get a lot of information about your future in just a short amount of time.
You can also play “How Well Do You Know Your University,” and have a chance to win prizes, including the grand prize of a Google Nexus 7 Tablet. Each day’s events will take place from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the TR cafeteria.
The Transfer Center works to help students with advising for TCC graduation and university transfer planning. Their center includes computers, transfer literature and other student resources. For more information, contact Sharon Moore, TR Transfer Center, 817-515-1198.
