Tarrant County College Names Executive Director for Institutional Research and Planning

FORT WORTH, Texas (Feb. 9, 2012)

Terri Day has been appointed executive director of Institutional Research and Planning for Tarrant County College. Day previously was the associate director of Institutional Research, Planning and Effectiveness at The University of Texas at Arlington.

In her new role, Day will develop and lead a comprehensive institutional research program that supports TCC’s mission and strategic initiatives. Her team will provide information and analytic support to the college’s administrative decision makers.

Day has been involved with various aspects of education during her career, including program policy development, planning and evaluation, designing and evaluating research projects and coordinating student success initiatives. Day also directed school-age service programs at multiple sites for the U.S. Army in Germany.

She earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education Administration from the University of Dayton, OH, a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling and Personnel Services from the University of Maryland at College Park, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from the State University of New York, Institute of Technology at Utica/Rome.
