Timothy Marshall Named Tarrant County College Vice Chancellor for Information and Technology

FORT WORTH, Texas (Feb. 2, 2012)

Timothy Marshall has been named vice chancellor for Information and Technology Services at Tarrant County College. He has more than 25 years of experience in technology and executive management and previously served as chief information officer/senior executive director for Orange County Public Schools in Orlando, Fla.

Marshall will provide input into the strategic plan, implementation and operational guidance of all aspects of academic and administrative computing, instructional support and networking.  Additionally, he will be responsible for the college’s software systems, programming, acquisition of computer hardware, telephone services, printing services and institutional research.

In addition to overseeing operations in a K-12 district, Marshall has worked extensively in higher education including Brevard Community College in Cocoa, Fla.  His experience spans multiple industries including defense and electronics manufacturing and banking.

Marshall graduated summa cum laude from the University of Baltimore with a Master of Science Degree in Management Information Systems and magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems.
