Two TCC campuses have announced their new student orientation sessions. Trinity River Campus hosts the first of three new student orientations on Friday, Aug. 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. South Campus will hold two orientation sessions Aug. 20 from 8 a.m. to noon and Aug. 25 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Students at the Trinity River orientations will receive a free T-shirt, locate their classrooms, learn about TCC resources and meet students, faculty and staff. They will also receive vital items including their picture identification and parking pass. Other sessions will be Friday, Aug. 12 and Saturday, Aug. 27.
Sessions on South Campus will include degree planning, career and transfer planning and tours. The financial aid director and registrar will host a parent session. Students will have a chance to win gift cards to the bookstore and other door prizes.
