Organizers of the Trinity River Campus 2011 Rock ‘n‘ Enroll are reaching out to programs throughout the District and all campuses to participate in the event Saturday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Participants are encouraged to staff a table with information about their program or campus and to include a small activity to help draw attention to their exhibit. Trinity River will have some activities for departments to use as well as prizes and candy available for them to distribute.
Rock ‘n‘ Enroll hopes to introduce more of the community to TCC and all we have to offer. Information sessions will be held on the enrollment process and on financial aid. Fun activities, including face painting, magic shows and coloring, are planned for the day. Churros, popcorn and corn dogs are among the food choices.
Student Services will be open to assist prospective students with the enrollment process. Invitations have been sent to graduating high school seniors, and special outreach efforts are being made to other specific communities.
