TCC students could be getting more help paying for their schooling for the 2011-12 school year based on projections from the Tarrant County College Foundation. 
TCCF projects it will administer more than 740 scholarships for the upcoming academic year. Anticipated awards would be by TCCF, Birdville Independent School District and scholarships provided by community organizations.
TCCF, a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization classified under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, administered 562 scholarships, totaling $554,702, during the 2010-11 academic year, more than double the 220 for 2009-10 academic year, which totaled $287,286.
