FORT WORTH, Texas (May 16, 2011) Two Tarrant County College Northwest Campus Business Professionals of America students won first place and three others ranked in the top 10 in the nation at the recent National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C.
Mia Easley earned first place for Presentation Management, and Emily Almaguer placed first for Human Resource Management. Easley also ranked in the top 10 for Management, Marketing and Human Resources and was elected a voting delegate. Almaguer is a 2011 TCC graduate with an Associate Degree in Marketing. She plans to pursue her bachelor’s degree in marketing at Texas Christian University.
Financial Analyst Team members Mark Garber, Michael Gardner and Kathryn Alvarado ranked in the nation’s top 10. Additionally, Garber was elected head delegate and Gardner a voting delegate.
