Northwest BPA Students Tops

For the first time, two Tarrant County College Northwest Campus Business Professionals of America students won first place at the recent National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. Three other students ranked in the top 10 in the nation.

Mia Easley earned first place for Presentation Management and also ranked in the top 10 for Management, Marketing and Human Resources.

Emily Almaguer placed first for Human Resource Management. Emily graduated Friday with an associate degree in Marketing. She plans to pursue her bachelor’s degree in marketing at Texas Christian University.

In addition to competing at the leadership conference, Northwest students also helped with the conference. Mark was elected head delegate and Mia and Michael were voting delegates.
