Regardless of what crosses their paths, Friday, May 13, is a day of celebration for the nearly 2,000 TCC graduates heading to the Fort Worth Convention Center for spring commencement.
Napoleon Brandford III, chairman and co-founder of the nation’s only minority/woman-owned investment banking underwriting firm, will be the speaker at the 6:30 p.m. ceremony. Brandford is chairman and co-founder of Siebert Brandford Shank & Co., LLC, which for the first time since its establishment in 1996, is ranked eighth in the nation for senior-managed underwriting transactions.
Graduates, their families and guests, along with TCC faculty and staff, are encouraged to take advantage of special shuttles arranged just for them. Free parking is available at TCC’s downtown Trinity River Campus. The shuttle departs from the circular drive at Trinity River Campus Circle in front of the Rotunda. Service begins at 4 p.m. and continues through the start of the ceremony.
Faculty and staff shuttles will depart at 4 p.m. from the following campuses at the indicated locations:
- Northeast, Northwest and South campuses: Flag pole
- Trinity River Campus: Campus circle in front of the Rotunda
Southeast Campus faculty and staff can utilize shuttles on other campuses. Shuttles will be waiting outside the Convention Center to provide return transportation immediately following the ceremony.
