FORT WORTH, Texas (Apr. 21, 2011)
Tarrant County College and Texas Tech University entered an articulation agreement Monday that will allow local TCC students to earn a bilingual education degree from TTU while remaining in Fort Worth.
Eligible students will apply to TTU after completion of an Associate of Arts Degree in Teaching or core curriculum. TTU will offer classes in a distance learning format.
TCC will provide classrooms and other space as needed to recruit and advise students interested in earning a four-year degree. Both schools also agreed to enter consortium agreements so students who are simultaneously enrolled at both institutions are eligible to apply for federal financial aid.
