Our Phi Tau Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the two-year college honor society, recently returned from the PTK International Conference in Seattle with an armful of super-significant awards like Distinguished Chapter, Distinguished Honors in Action Award, and Distinguished Issue Award for Government and Public Policy Issues!
Located on the NE Campus, the Phi Tau Chapter in its award-winning submissions addressed public policy issues specific to gas wells in Tarrant County. Judging was based largely on essays written by our team. Other criteria, such as participation in district and state events, fostering membership, and holding inductions, had to be met to qualify for the awards.
Congratulations to the NE Phi Tau Chapter of PTK – way to go!
