If you noticed banners this week on South Campus, they are in recognition of the campus’ celebration of National TRIO Day.
Activities today have included a display with a “visual” scavenger hunt. Student, faculty and staff are competing to win gift cards and other prizes from local businesses.
National TRIO Day is an annual event to celebrate the achievements of the National TRIO Programs and their work with low-income and first generation college students. Students Targeting and Reaching Success (STARS) and Upward Bound are TCC’s TRIO programs.
