3 Ball Productions is coming to TCC to film a finale for an episode of ABC’s upcoming new reality series “Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition,” to premiere in 2011.
In each episode, one super-obese person will experience the most important year of his or her life, going through an enormous transformative process to safely lose at least half of his or her body weight. Participants undergo a giant change, not just with their bodies, but also in terms of who they are individually.
Trainer and transformation specialist, Chris Powell (“The 650-Pound Virgin”) guides them for one year, moving into their homes, and interacting with their families and loved ones. By assuring that they have the proper nourishment and exercise movement, Chris provides a fresh perspective to individuals whose lives have become unmanageable because of their weight.
From the producers of “The Biggest Loser” and “MasterChef,” the executive producers for “Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition” are J.D. Roth and Todd A. Nelson.
TCC was selected for filming because of the facilities available at the Fire Service Training Center. Stay tuned for more details once the series schedule is confirmed.
