Officials of Tarrant County College Southeast Campus extend an invitation to the official opening of its nearly $27-million Science and Academic Wing, which offers classes for the first time this spring.
TCC Chancellor Erma Johnson Hadley and Southeast Campus President Judith Carrier will be joined by U.S. Congresswoman Kay Granger, Arlington Mayor Dr. Robert Cluck and Arlington Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Wes Jurey for the ceremonies.

Background:
Southeast Campus was built in 1996 for 5,500 students and currently serves more than 15,000. The new 114,519-square-foot Science and Academic Wing provides classrooms for computer science, speech and laboratory sciences. It also features additional office space for faculty as well as meeting areas for student organizations and the Student Activities Office.
During the ceremonies, the Southeast Jazz Ensemble will perform and Culinary Arts students will provide refreshments themed to the various spaces within the building.
