Chancellor Erma Johnson Hadley spent the day Monday on Northwest Campus hearing from students, faculty and staff during the first of a series of “Conversations with the Chancellor” that offer each campus all day access to the Chancellor. The actual NW visit may have come to an end, but the conversations are continuing and we urge you to contribute to that conversation here via the comment section of this blog post.
Recent high school graduates and non-traditional students sharing how their college success classes helped in their transition to college were among those Chancellor Hadley heard from during her day-long visit throughout NW campus. The merits of the Skylight Gallery not only as a place of beauty but for its contribution to mental recognition training also were touted. Faculty and staff shared ideas for increasing access to students and issues such as parking challenges were discussed during the fast-paced day.
Visits to other campuses have been scheduled on the following dates: Nov. 2, South Campus; Nov. 3, Trinity River Campus; Nov. 8, Southeast Campus. A date for Northeast Campus will be announced soon.
Mark your calendar and don’t miss your day to visit with Chancellor Hadley. And, keep the conversation going by adding your comments here.
