Got opinions about your experiences at TCC? Here’s your chance to speak your mind. Take part in TCC Diversity 2015 as a participant in one of 24 focus groups meeting throughout the District during a two-day period. Focus groups will be comprised of faculty, staff and students sharing similar characteristics.
Focus groups are being conducted by non-TCC employees Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 14 and 15. Information gathered will be used to identify goals to be incorporated in TCC’s Diversity Strategic Framework.
Faculty and staff focus groups on Tuesday by location are:
Northeast Campus, NTAB 2203C for white women from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and for white men from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Northwest Campus, WFSC 2502 for Latinos from 8:30 to 10 a.m., Latinas, from 10:30 a.m. to noon and Veterans from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Trinity River Campus, TRTR 4050 Trinity Point for Individuals with Disabilities from 8:30 to 10 a.m. and for support staff from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Faculty and staff focus groups on Wednesday by location are:
South Campus, SSTU 2207 for African-American men from 8:30 to 10 a.m., African-American women from 10:30 a.m. to noon, full-time faculty from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and adjunct faculty from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
Southeast Campus, (Campus Conference Center) ESEC 2124, for Asian Men and Women from 10:30 a.m. to noon and International Men and Women from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
A special off-site location to be provided at the time of registration will be held from 7:30 to 9 p.m. for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning and allies.
