TCC now has three representatives on the Texas State Assembly of The Association of Surgical Technologists. Don Braziel, program coordinator for surgical technology on the Northeast Campus, was already on the board and as of last week, Cindy Mask , surgical technology instructor at Northeast and former Northeast student Kim Taylor, are also serving on the board. Taylor, a former TCC student, is the immediate past president of the Association of Surgical Technologists Student Association. Braziel was also elected as a delegate to the AST national conference. It was indeed a good weekend for the TCC surgical tech faculty and students.
