Watch Univision today, March 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. to catch the “23 a su lado” telethon segment promoting TCC services and programs, including ESL/ESOL courses, financial aid opportunities and admissions services.
The “a su lado” program will encourage viewers to call in to ask questions and discuss educational opportunities with Spanish-speaking faculty and staff volunteers from various TCC departments and student services areas.
During TCC’s first experience with the Univision program Jan. 14, TCC representatives answered calls nonstop, and assisted more than 150 individuals during the two-hour timeframe. “A su lado” runs throughout the year and is designed to directly connect Spanish-speaking community members with experts from non-profit, educational and community organizations.
