Cheers and hip, hip hurray are in order for Northeast Campus Music Instructor Philippe Baugh as the first to sign up as an expert by returning his 2010 TCC Speaker’s Bureau/Experts List form.
Baugh’s quick response was soon followed by Southeast Campus Theater Instructor Jennifer Saxton, Northeast Health and Physical Education Instructor Bart Desender, South Campus Department Chair and Assistant Professor of Electronics Thomas Hart and Trinity River Campus Assistant Professor of Sociology and Psychology Theresa Schrantz. Saxton and Hart signed up as speakers and experts. Desender agreed to be a speaker and Schrantz is available as an expert.
Compiled by Public Relations and Marketing, the speaker’s guide and expert list provide easy ways to deliver information about TCC to those who need it. For the first time, Public Relations and Marketing is also building a list of fluent Spanish speakers. PR&M is particularly interested in those familiar with TCC’s frontline student service areas, who would be willing to represent TCC and speak to the news media as needed.
Being on the list does not obligate you in any way. Responding to requests to speak is purely voluntary and based on your schedule.
More details about the Expert Guide and Speaker’s Bureau and copies of the form to sign up are available in the All Outlook Users message from Gary Cumbie sent just before noon Wednesday, January 27. Questions should be directed to Connie Helbing in the Office of Public Relations and Marketing at ext. 5212 or via email at connie.helbing@tccd.edu.
Haven’t gotten your form in yet? You have one more day to make the deadline. Don’t be left out!
