SE Architecture Students Fight Hungry

TCC Southeast Campus architecture students once again stacked up against top architectural professionals to compete in the CANstruction Competition, sponsored by the Society of Design Administrators, an affiliate of the American Institute of Architects.

The 2009 theme was “Our Vision to End Hunger” and was displayed at both Galleria Mall in Dallas and the Northeast Mall in Hurst. Students donated the 4,000 cans used to make the displays to both the North Texas Food Bank and the Tarrant Area Food Bank.

Student participants Daniel Bozorgnia, Kelly Calhoun, Jose Contreras, Khoa Duong, Brian Knapp, Juan A. Martinez, David McCraw, Cisco Perez and Charlie Stephens were aided by architecture instructors Arnie Radman and Ghada Mahasneh.

Photos of the display may be seen in the TCC Buzz Galleries.
