November Begins With Campus Events

Exhibits on three TCC campuses are among events available to the TCC community and the public during the first week of November.

“VIDEO!” is on display on South Campus in the Carillon Gallery in the Joe B. Rushing Center for Performing Arts until Nov. 8. The festival focuses on the moving image and features artists from around the nation. On Southeast Campus, “Traces,” a group exhibit of abstract works in a variety of media, continues through Dec. 3 in Art Corridor II in ESEC. The newest gallery space on Northwest Campus is featuring a student show through Dec. 30 in the Skylight Gallery in the Criminal Justice Training Center.

Early performances in November include tenor Stan Paschal in a Faculty Recital and the Northeast Jazz Lab Band, both on Northeast Campus.  Paschal will perform Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in College Hall, Room NCAB 1111. The Lab Band’s concert will be Saturday, Nov. 7, in the Theater in the Fine Arts Building. Two fairs will be held Wednesday, Nov. 4. A  Resource Fair for Veterans will be held on Northeast Campus from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Center, Center Corner, Room 1615A.On Southeast Campus, a Holiday Helpers Job Fair will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., ESEC, Commons.
