FORT WORTH, Texas — Tarrant County College has been named All-Star College of the Year by Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County, recognizing TCC’s leadership in delivering employer-driven education and training that strengthens the regional workforce and addresses critical skills gaps.
The award was announced Feb. 11 at Workforce Solutions’ inaugural State of the Workforce Address. The first of its kind, the award honors a postsecondary institution demonstrating exceptional impact in workforce development, employer partnerships and talent pipeline growth.
“Tarrant County College is honored to receive this award,” said Chancellor Elva LeBlanc. “It reflects our strong collaboration with employers and Workforce Solutions to ensure Trailblazers gain the skills and credentials needed to succeed in today’s economy. When education and workforce partners align, opportunity grows for students, employers and the entire region.”
A recognized leader in workforce development, TCC partners with industry to deliver high-demand programs and nationally recognized credentials that meet evolving market needs. In collaboration with Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County, the College recently supported 630 employees through a Skills Development Fund grant and served more than 800 individuals through Adult Education and Literacy programs.
