Tarrant County College shatters spring enrollment record

FORT WORTH, Texas — Tarrant County College has scored another post-pandemic enrollment high. Based on 12th class day numbers, TCC begins spring 2025 up 8 percent over a year ago, serving 46,681 students across its six campuses and surpassing many of the nation’s two-year institutions. Approximately 12,500 students are dual enrolled (dual credit and Early College High School).

And with multiple start dates based on program offerings, spring enrollment is expected to grow. Registration for the second eight-week term continues through March 20. Visit www.tccd.edu for class schedules.

“These numbers reflect the transformative work that takes place at Tarrant County College,” said Chancellor Elva LeBlanc. “Our outstanding faculty and staff are committed to ensuring that every student has the support to succeed.”

In addition to myriad success initiatives, Dr. LeBlanc attributes TCC’s growing enrollment to market-responsive learning opportunities, amplified financial assistance and a rising reputation as one of the country’s top comprehensive community colleges.

“We’re providing access and opportunity for students who otherwise might not have the chance to earn a higher education. We’re strengthening workforce development and uplifting our region and state by equipping students with the education to transfer to four-year institutions or immediately begin high-demand, high-wage careers.”

Celebrating 60 years of excellence and impact in 2025, Tarrant County College is one of the nation’s largest higher education institutions and boasts the second lowest tuition of Texas’ Top 10 community colleges. A comprehensive two-year college with six campuses in Tarrant County and online classes, TCC offers a range of opportunities for learners of all ages and backgrounds, including Associate of Arts and Associate of Applied Science degrees; workforce and economic development programs; technical and skilled trades programs; and customized training for area businesses and corporations.
