FORT WORTH, Texas — Tarrant County College continues to meet the needs of people looking to take their academic and professional careers to the next level.
Individuals living and working in the county are invited to TCC’s first program showcase Thursday, Dec. 12, at New Heights High School inside the TCC Opportunity Center, 5901 Fitzhugh Ave. It’s free, with sessions at 1:30-2:45 p.m. and 7-8:15 p.m.
Meet with TCC representatives to get information about a range of programs, including Pharmacy Technician, Patient Care Technician, Phlebotomy, Electrocardiogram and Certified Nursing Assistant.
Launch a healthcare career by registering for one of the Medical Terminology course sections starting next month at the Opportunity Center:
- HPRS-1206-86017: First 8 Weeks (1-21-25 – 3-14-25)
- HPRS-1206-86016: Second 8 Weeks (3-24-25 – 5-14-25)
The HPRS course serves as a prerequisite for several health-related programs offered through the TCC Health Science Pathway.
Healthcare providers in the region consistently recruit TCC graduates for positions in various disciplines. Industry partners cite the quality of TCC’s programs, faculty and students. Many of TCC’s allied health programs have additional accreditations to ensure ongoing improvement.
Information about enrolling at New Heights Adult School, the free adult high school that allows students to earn a diploma, career certifications and college credits at the Opportunity Center, will be available.
