The corridors and classrooms, labs and lounges in SE01 and SE07 have been unusually quiet lately. No more drilling, hammering or sawing. Just a nip here, a tuck there and a few touch-ups to TCC Southeast’s new building additions.
There’s a sense of expectation. The Counseling Center awaits the counselors and their clientele. The Welcome Center is ready to, well, welcome. The gleaming culinary kitchen is primed to turn out gastronomic delights. The Learning Stairs call the climbers.
The wait ends soon.
Faculty and staff will move in the two weeks leading up to spring break next month. Classes begin after the break, and offices such as Financial Aid, Student Services and the Registrar will be open for business.
Photos taken during the calm before the storm offer a glimpse at the result of all that construction over the past two years. Look nice to you? Yeah, thought so.
