Employment opportunities at Tarrant County College and how to use Career Coach to learn requirements and locations for jobs was among the information job-seekers picked up from the TCC booth at the Putting Texans Back to Work Job Fair Wednesday at the Arlington Convention Center.
TCC was a sponsor of the seven-hour event said to have attracted as many as 4,500 people. Corporate Services Administrative Office Assistants Linda Kelly and Jennifer Villaire talked to at least 800 people whose frequent questions were “How can I get a job at TCC?” and “If I am a TCC alumni do I have an advantage of getting a job at TCC?”
Kelly and Villaire also gave potential students information about TCC’s credit and Continuing Education courses. They also had the opportunity to network with other company representatives and let them know about the training opportunities TCC provides.
