FORT WORTH, Texas (Aug. 12, 2011)
Tarrant County College Chancellor Erma Johnson Hadley, third from the left, and TCC Foundation Executive Director Joe McIntosh, far right, accepted a grant for $45,000 from JPMorgan Chase Foundation representatives, from left to right, Brian Page, Mike Wilson, Todd Ritterbusch and Tammie Marceleno. The grant is in support of TCC’s Learning Opportunity Centers and Community-Based Workforce Readiness Initiatives. Fees associated with General Education Development testing and wages for instructional aides for as many as 300 individuals are among the items the grant will help fund. The grant is the third from Chase bringing its total donation to $130,000.
“This support from JPMorgan Chase Foundation is a testament to its support of the larger community,” said TCCF’s McIntosh. “Chase’s investment in local communities is indicative of their knowledge of what’s going on locally, what is needed in various communities and what programs work.”
