FORT WORTH, Texas (Jul. 28, 2011)
Prospective and current students and their families are invited to join the fun as they learn more about Tarrant County College at Trinity River Campus’ Third Annual Rock ‘n’ Enroll Enrollment Fair Saturday, Aug. 6.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the fair features drawings, magic shows and tours at the campus, located at 300 Trinity Campus Circle in downtown Fort Worth. Free parking is available in the TCC garage at Belknap and Cherry streets.
KISS FM will be on site from 10 a.m. to noon. Night Flight, a local band, will perform from noon to 2 p.m.
Special parent orientations will be held at 11:30 a.m. in English in the Win Room and in Spanish in the Connect Room.
Prospective students can get information about services including advising, financial aid, testing, business services and registration. Those who enroll in courses will also be entered for a chance to win a free class and textbooks.
Information sessions will be held on Admissions, TCC Programs and How to Pay for College each hour from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 20-minute intervals. Tours will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., noon and 1 p.m.
Representatives from programs offered at various TCC campuses, including Continuing Education Health Careers, will be available to answer questions about opportunities.
