Ricardo Coronado, associate vice chancellor for Human Resources, will be rubbing elbows with human resources colleagues from across the country this summer at the College & University Professional Association for Human Resources Leadership Program. Coronado will be interacting with peers July 8-10 in Salt Lake City.
Coronado joined TCC seven years ago as director of Human Resources and became AVC in 2006. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University where he earned a doctorate in educational human resources development and a master of education in industrial education. Additionally, he has earned a bachelor’s degree in government with honors from The University of Texas and an associate degree from McCLennan Community College.
At TCC, Coronado is responsible for leading TCC’s comprehensive strategic human resources program that serves more than 3,000 full-time and part-time faculty and staff. HR programs include compensation, benefits, employee relations, recruitment, professional development and training, performance management and equal opportunity employment.
