WHAT:
Tarrant County College Southeast Campus will host “Dream Me a Story,” a festival designed to excite children about reading. The Southeast Campus Library and Student Development Office are working in conjunction with Score A Goal in the Classroom, a Tarrant County nonprofit organization.

Children will be greeted by storybook characters Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel and other fairy tale and folklore characters during “Dream Me a Story,” Southeast’s second annual reading festival. Characters will be portrayed by Southeast Campus student volunteers who will read to the elementary students. About 250 students from area public schools are expected to participate and receive books and various school supplies.
