Foundation Development Coordinator Dionne Jones is participating in a network of more than 2,500 women as a member of the Leadership Texas Class of 2010.
“Leading with Strength into the Future” is the 2010 theme. The 120-member class will be in Lubbock July 12-14 where they will explore issues that help illuminate participants’ knowledge about three major issues affecting Texas – the economy, education and the environment. Jones and her classmates also will have sessions in Dallas, Laredo, Waco and Austin, where graduation ceremonies will be held.
Leadership Texas was launched in 1983 as the first statewide program for women’s leadership development. It is a program of the Foundation for Women’s Resources established in 1974 to advance the poser of leadership and legacy through programs that connect, inspire, empower and honor women.
