Two Northeast English faculty are lending their expertise this weekend to an area seminar, “Do the Write Thing Writing Workshop 2010: the Dollars and Sense (Cents) of Publishing.”
Essence Best-Selling Author and English Instructor Shewanda Riley will discuss “Publishing Your Book in a Week.” Poet, Author and Associate English Professor Rebecca Balcarcel will lead a discussion on “The Art of Writing Poetry.”
Other sessions include “Writing a Book Proposal,” “The Dollars and Sense (Cents) of Publishing” and “Creating an Audio Book.” A free critique session with a writing coach also will be available.
