Trinity River Campus will celebrate the opening of their new 71,917-square-foot math and science wing during a dedication ceremony this Friday, April 30, from 11:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All are welcome to attend the event, beginning with music and refreshments, followed by a 12:15 p.m. welcome from Campus President Tahita Fulkerson, remarks by Chancellor Erma Johnson Hadley and a ribbon cutting by students. Group tours will begin at 1 p.m.
The wing features 10 science labs to be used for biology, chemistry and geology courses and 13 classrooms, including five tiered lecture halls, one regular lecture hall, five general classrooms, and two computer classrooms. Other features include a science tutoring lab, a math lab, a suite of adjunct instructor offices and work spaces, and open student gathering areas.
