A seminar for administrators and support staff involved in hiring TCC faculty and staff will be held Tuesday, May 4, at Northwest Campus. The seminar is from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Michael Saenz Conference Center, WACB 1123.
The four-hour seminar, offered through TCC Institute, consists of two sections. The first part covers the practices, policies and procedures of the hiring process. Actions using TCC’s Colleague software to employ faculty and staff will be explained in the second section. Topics to be covered include “My To Do List,” terminating employment, ending and adding positions, hiring regular and temporary employees, and employee position changes.
Facilitators are Ricardo Coronado, associate vice chancellor for human resources; and Joe Jernigan, manager of employee training and development.
