Did you feel cool? Were you told it made you look good? Regardless of why you picked up that first cigarette, are you finding it more difficult to stop than it was to start?
If so, TCC, in conjunction with our Alliance Work Partners Employee Assistance Program, has help for TCC faculty and staff. A 12-week Smoking Cessation Program will begin Tuesday, Sept. 8, on Northeast Campus in the Technology and Arts Building, Room 2203C.
The program can help you assess your readiness to stop smoking, offer strategies for success and provide valuable information to manage real-world challenges and situations.
Program objectives include helping participants discover their relationship with smoking, focus on why they smoke and teach them how other lifestyle changes can help them remain smoke-free.
EAP account manager Ande Sullivan, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, will be the facilitator. To enroll, please contact: Human Resources Specialist Cherie Keplinger at cherie.keplinger@tccd.edu or ext. 5238.
